CURRENT PROJECT: The Broken Alliance

MISSION: Second-pass revision

STATUS: Making progress. Questioning everything.

I'm currently trying to avoid writing by downloading my entire music library so I can backup the files on a hard drive. And last weekend I rearranged my office to have more open space in the middle. "Now there's room to exercise." I actually said this. Like when was the last time I actually did a youtube workout even though I am still subscribed to growwithjo, I just skip past all of those videos and find my planner related content. :) But I am going to work on my revision dashboard tonight. I have made a reversed outline (which means that I drafted the book without one and now that the book is done I've completed one based on the real time draft) and read through it making notes. I only need to take those notes and put them in the second tab of my revision dashboard called Chapter & Scene Tracker. After that I will probably get side-tracked with formulas in open excel so I don't have to type much into the spreadsheet and everything just flows over. We will see if I can get some working. 

I am finding these days that writing is hard. My favorite part of writing is making up the worlds and people and how they all connect. This world is complete. And as long as my ending makes sense I have figured out the mysteries of this series, but I still need to finish book three and book four. And that's going to be the hard part. Because other worlds are creeping in, I mean I did take the summer off to write a space opera basically. And once it gets through developmental line edits it will be ready for consumption.
